An Emeritus membership is offered to any general member retiring from active pet sitting. Emeritus members can participate as board members but can only be in an EC position if voted in prior to Emeritus member status. Any member in a current Board or EC position is encouraged to fulfill his/her current position after transitioning to an Emeritus membership but asked to provide at minimum six months’ notice prior to departure if choosing not to continue service in order that NAPPS may elect a replacement for the vacancy.
